- How do you decide which waterproofing method to use?
- By inspection. Entry points, grading, soil, existing systems and the layout of the home all change the answer. Anyone who names a method before looking is guessing.
- Is a wet basement always a waterproofing problem?
- No. Plumbing leaks, condensation, failed downspouts and sewer issues all produce water in a basement. Part of the inspection is ruling those out.
- Do I need a camera inspection before sewer work?
- For anything beyond clearing a clog, yes. It's the only way to know the material, depth, slope and location of a defect before excavating.
- Do you charge for an inspection or estimate?
- No. Inspections and estimates are free.
- Can you tell me a price over the phone?
- We can explain what drives the price. An actual number comes after an inspection, in writing, with the scope it covers.
- What happens after I submit a request?
- Your request is recorded and someone follows up to confirm details and arrange a time. Submitting a request is not a confirmed appointment.
- What areas of Northeast Ohio do you serve?
- We serve Northeast Ohio, including Lorain, Elyria, Amherst, Avon, Avon Lake, North Ridgeville, Sheffield Lake, Vermilion, Oberlin, Wellington, LaGrange, Grafton and Columbia Station. Send us your address and we'll confirm coverage.
- What services do you offer?
- Interior waterproofing, exterior waterproofing, storm drain repair and replacement, and sewer main line repair and replacement.
- What are your hours?
- Monday through Sunday, 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM. Call 440-385-4088 or request an inspection online.
- Is a storm drain the same as a sewer line?
- No. Storm lines carry roof and surface water away from the house. The sanitary sewer carries wastewater from the home. They are separate systems, inspected and repaired separately.
- Should I repair or replace my sewer line?
- A camera inspection decides it. An isolated defect can usually be spot repaired; a line failing along its length is a replacement.
- Are you licensed and insured?
